We really enjoyed this place. We sat in the restaurant area at the back and had our family meal. The staff were lovely and the food, drinks & tea were great. All reasonably priced too. Thanks.
As part of a Hull food tour, my Southern friend had never had patty before, so we shared one along with some fish fingers. Deep-fried delights!
Best chippy in Hull, came from Scarborough to get one of their famous patties and took another five home! Curry sauce is lovely too with a kick of spice and no sultanas, the way it should be.
It's a shame about the original Bob Carver's. It just needs doing up exactly like it. Then reopening again. But the patties from the other one are lovely. Batter and breaded.
